Natalie at full speed in the Tour de France Femmes Time Trial

It was time trial day at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift! In this highly specialized discipline, Natalie Quinn was the fastest rider for Mayenne Monbana My Pie, finishing 28th on Stage 4. It was a strong result against the best riders in the world, less than two minutes behind the stage winner.

It was also a special day thanks to the presence of a busload of supporters from the Mayenne Department. There is no doubt that the many cheers from these fans provided extra motivation for the riders to shine.

Natalie Quinn. “I can be quite satisfied with my time trial. Every time trial I race, I feel like I’m getting better. I have the impression that I’m improving every time. Today (Tuesday), for me, the finish line was almost at the top of the climb. My strategy was to go as hard as possible on the uphill section. Then, the goal was to recover on the descent while staying as aerodynamic as possible. Once the descent was over, there were about three kilometres left to ride flat out to the finish. Tomorrow, I’m expecting a very difficult race, but I’m really looking forward to it.”
