Tour de France Femmes – Karolina moves up the standings after a demanding stage 5

Stage 5 of the Tour de France Femmes featured a particularly challenging and hilly route. With a course designed to encourage attacks, the peloton quickly shattered into several groups. Karolina Perekitko put in a strong ride and finished 28th on the stage.


This result allows the Mayenne Monbana My Pie rider to gain places in the overall standings. After two more difficult days on the way to Geneva and Dijon, the Polish rider has climbed to 45th place overall. The rest of the team continues to give everything in an effort to showcase the jersey against the very highest level of women's cycling.
