The Mayenne Monbana My Pie team keeps the momentum going! Another Top 10 finish was secured on Sunday at the Tour of the Valencian Community, thanks to Marine Allione’s impressive 6th place. It was the result of another strong collective performance by the French ProTeam in this ProSeries race, the second-highest level of competition worldwide. Marine finished as the first French rider and the first ProTeam representative across the line.

The Spanish race was marked by aggressive racing, especially in the second half. After the day’s two main climbs, several groups formed. In the lead group, Mayenne Monbana My Pie was represented by Alice Coutinho and Marine Allione. Unfortunately, Alice suffered a puncture in the finale, while Marine stayed on the right wheels and sprinted to a 6th-place finish at the line. This marks her second Top 10 in as many races, following her 9th place at the Pionera Race last Sunday — very encouraging performances at the start of a season that is only just beginning.

Marine Allione : “I’m very happy and surprised by these two Top 10 finishes. I changed coaches since last season, worked hard over the winter, and I’m really glad to see it paying off. I was disappointed that Alice had a puncture, as I was planning to lead her out for the sprint. So I decided to play my own card and thought, ‘why not?’ I followed the wheels and sprinted myself to finish 6th. I’m really happy with the start of the season and with our collective work. We’re truly united—everyone is happy for each other. It’s really great.”

The next race for Mayenne Monbana My Pie will be Omloop Nieuwsblad in Belgium on February 28. A WorldTour event where the very best riders in the world will be on the start line.
